These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the e-PetVet mobile application, website, and
seller portal (together, the "Platform"), operated by e-PetVet ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an
account, placing an order, or listing products on the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the Platform.
2. Who Can Use e-PetVet
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
You must register with a valid mobile number and verify it through OTP.
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
Veterinarians and medical stores must submit genuine registration, licence, and identity documents
for verification.
3. Our Role as a Marketplace
e-PetVet operates as a technology platform that connects three types of users: livestock owners and pet
owners, registered veterinarians, and verified medical stores (sellers).
Products listed in the marketplace are owned, stocked, priced, packed, and invoiced by the
respective seller, not by e-PetVet.
The contract of sale for any product is between you and the seller. e-PetVet facilitates discovery,
ordering, payment collection, and delivery coordination.
Veterinary consultations, advice, and prescriptions are provided by independent, registered
veterinarians. e-PetVet does not practise veterinary medicine and does not provide medical advice.
4. Product Listings and Approval
Every product listed by a seller goes through an internal review before it becomes visible to buyers:
New listings start in Pending status and appear in the catalogue only after our
team approves them.
If a seller changes product content such as the title, description, or images, the listing returns
to Pending and is re-reviewed. Price and stock updates stay live.
Listings may be rejected or removed if they are misleading, prohibited, unsafe, incorrectly
labelled, or violate any law.
When stock reaches zero, or a seller marks an item unavailable, the product shows as
Out of Stock.
5. Prescription and Regulated Products
Certain veterinary medicines can be sold only against a valid prescription issued by a registered
veterinarian. By ordering such items, you confirm that you hold a valid prescription and will
produce it on request. Sellers must refuse or cancel orders where a required prescription cannot be
verified.
Always follow the dosage and instructions given by a qualified veterinarian. Information shown on the
Platform is for reference only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary examination,
diagnosis, or treatment.
6. Pricing, Taxes, and Order Acceptance
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Your final payable amount is the product subtotal plus delivery charges plus any Cash on Delivery
handling fee, as displayed on the checkout screen before you confirm the order.
Prices, offers, and availability can change at any time without notice.
In case of an obvious pricing or stock error, we or the seller may cancel the affected order and
refund any amount already paid.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted only when the seller confirms it.
7. Payments
We accept the following payment methods:
Online (prepaid): UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and wallets,
processed through our payment gateway partner Razorpay.
Cash on Delivery (COD): available on eligible pincodes and order values, with an
additional handling fee shown at checkout.
We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank credentials. All online payments are handled directly by
the payment gateway on secure, encrypted infrastructure. See the
Cancellation & Refund Policy for how money is returned when an
order is cancelled.
8. Delivery
Orders are shipped through our logistics partner network. Delivery timelines, serviceability, and
charges are calculated from your delivery pincode and shown before you pay. Full details are in the

9. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel an order from My Orders until the seller marks it ready to ship. Once an
order is ready to ship or handed to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled in the app. Refunds for
prepaid orders are processed to the original payment method. Please read the

timelines.
10. Reviews and User Content
You may review a product only after receiving it in a delivered order.
Content you post must be truthful, relevant, and free of abusive, obscene, defamatory, or
misleading material.
Do not post personal contact details or attempt to move transactions off the Platform.
We may edit, hide, or remove content that violates these Terms, and may suspend accounts that
repeatedly do so.
By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use it on the
Platform.
11. Seller Obligations
If you list and sell products on e-PetVet, you additionally agree that:
You hold all licences required to store and sell the products you list, including any drug licence.
Listing details, batch information, expiry dates, MRP, and images are accurate and belong to you or
are used with permission.
You will maintain accurate stock, dispatch confirmed orders within the agreed timeline, and pack
goods safely.
You will honour prices displayed at the time of the order and issue a valid invoice to the buyer.
You will cooperate on returns, replacements, and refunds arising from damaged, wrong, expired, or
defective products.
You are responsible for the tax treatment of your sales, including GST where applicable.
12. Prohibited Conduct
While using the Platform, you must not:
Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose.
List or order counterfeit, expired, banned, or illegally sourced goods.
Place fake, duplicate, or automated orders, or misuse Cash on Delivery.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, or data.
Upload viruses, scrape data at scale, or interfere with normal operation of the Platform.
Impersonate another person, veterinarian, or business.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, remove listings, or withhold payouts if we reasonably believe
you have breached these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. You may stop using the Platform
at any time and can request deletion of your account through the
Delete Account page.
14. Intellectual Property
The e-PetVet name, logo, app design, text, graphics, and software are owned by us or our licensors and
are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative
works from them without our written permission.
15. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features may change or be withdrawn.
We do not warrant the quality, safety, or legality of products listed by sellers, nor the accuracy
of advice given by independent veterinarians.
Delivery estimates are indicative and may be affected by weather, courier delays, strikes, or other
events outside our control.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, e-PetVet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or
consequential loss, including loss of profit, livestock, or data, arising from your use of the
Platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim is limited to the
amount you paid for the specific order that gave rise to the claim.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold e-PetVet, its employees, and partners harmless from any claim, loss, or
expense arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, your listings, or your violation of
any law or third-party right.
18. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable
control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government action, strikes, power or network failure,
or courier disruption.
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute relating to the Platform is subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Pune, Maharashtra. Before starting legal proceedings, please
contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new
"Last Updated" date, and material changes may also be notified in the app. Continuing to use the
Platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
